Athletic Club Boise is running official fan-to-fan resale directly inside its existing ticketing platform, with menta tech providing the resale infrastructure behind the experience.

For Athletic Club Boise fans, resale happens in the same place they already manage their tickets.

When a fan cannot attend a match, they can list their seat directly through the club's existing ticketing experience. Another fan can buy it there, without being redirected to a separate resale marketplace.

The club keeps the experience under its own brand and rules, while menta operates the resale infrastructure behind it.

Built into the existing ticketing experience

menta's resale integration runs on vivenu's API and was already live in production, so the club could activate resale on its existing setup.

That means official resale can run as an extension of the club's existing ticketing setup rather than as a separate product or destination.

Athletic Club Boise controls when resale is available and the rules that apply to each event. menta handles the operational layer behind the experience, including payments and seller payouts, seller verification, tax handling, ticket invalidation and reissue, and dispute handling.

For the fan, the complexity stays invisible. Ticket management and resale remain part of the same experience.

Why resale matters for season passes

The activity so far shows a particularly strong use case for resale in sports.

Resale has been enabled across 19 Athletic Club Boise home matches this season, and every one has seen fan-to-fan activity.

91% of the tickets resold have come from season members.

Season members commit to a full schedule knowing there will be matches they cannot attend. Integrated resale gives them a way to put that seat back into circulation without taking the transaction outside the club's ticketing environment.

And the behavior is recurring: 58% of sellers have listed tickets for more than one match.

That suggests resale is becoming part of how fans manage their season, rather than something they use only once.

One experience for the fan

Athletic Club Boise keeps its brand, its rules, the fan relationship and the data. menta runs the resale infrastructure underneath.

The result is straightforward for fans: if they need to resell a ticket, they can do it where they already bought and manage it.

The ease of use for both our fans reselling and purchasing tickets as well as our staff monitoring transactions is seamless and on brand. The club is the point of contact, keeping messaging and branding consistent, while having the excellent Menta Tech support when needed. This allows us to focus on what we do best, provide gameday experiences that delight, while knowing that if an issue arises we can quickly handle it while keeping our brand as the focal point. Managing fan resale has gone from a complex process to one that we use as a season member retention benefit. - Brian Kayler - Chief Business Officer - Athletic Club Boise.
